We’re looking for an ambitious, sharp Finance Associate who is ready to take the next step in their career — someone who wants to contribute across planning, reporting, and deal execution today and grow into a finance leadership role as Vero scales. This role functions at Vero's corporate/parent company.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the EVP of Finance, we’re looking for a sharp, driven, and adaptable Finance Associate to join our team. This fully remote, U.S.-based position is a unique opportunity for an individual who wants to be involved with sophisticated strategic financial transactions at a company experiencing industry leading growth.

The Finance Associate will be a hands-on generalist across the Vero Holdings finance function, contributing to budgeting and forecasting, management and lender reporting, financial modeling, and support for treasury, capital markets, and M&A activity across VFN Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries. This is a high-visibility, build-it-and-grow-with-it opportunity designed for a current Financial Analyst, banking analyst, or transaction advisory professional who is ready to step up. You’ll get direct exposure to finance leadership, investors, lenders, and the board reporting process, and a clear runway to promotion as you demonstrate ownership and impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this essential role, you will be a key contributor across our Finance team, focusing on a combination of the following critical areas:

  • Planning & Forecasting: Support the annual budget process and rolling forecasts across all entities; maintain and improve the consolidated operating model, including revenue build-ups, opex, capex, and headcount planning tied to network expansion.
  • Management & Lender Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly budget-vs-actual analyses with clear driver-based commentary; help build reporting packages for finance leadership, the board, lenders, and the administrative agent.
  • Financial Modeling & Deal Support: Build and maintain models supporting M&A evaluation and capital planning; support diligence, schedules, and analysis for acquisitions, facility amendments, and new financings.
  • Treasury & Compliance Support: Assist with liquidity forecasting, covenant calculations, and debt compliance deliverables; partner with treasury on funding scenarios tied to network expansion and M&A activity.
  • Track key operating metrics for a fiber business — homes passed, penetration, ARPU, churn, cost per passing, and subscriber economics — and translate them into actionable insight for leadership.
  • Partner with accounting on the monthly close, ensuring actuals are accurately mapped to the budget and forecast structure.
  • Build and improve finance processes, systems, and reporting — bringing scalable, repeatable structure to a fast-growing finance function.
  • Partner cross-functionally with treasury, accounting, operations, and subsidiary finance teams on forecasting, funding, and compliance matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of progressive corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or transaction advisory experience — we are prioritizing talent, drive, and trajectory over years on the resume.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including three-statement modeling and driver-based forecasting; exposure to telecom, fiber, or other capital-intensive infrastructure businesses is a strong plus (and something you’ll deepen quickly in this role).
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with sharp attention to detail; experience with AI tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present analysis to senior leadership, lenders, and auditors.
  • Self-starter who thrives with ownership and ambiguity in a mid-sized, fast-growing company where collaboration and adaptability are key.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
