Vero Fiber is focused on becoming a market leader in the fiber to the premise industry and this position will directly impact the Company’s overall success. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. Your goal will be to help connect the community by following up on leads and closing sales opportunities over the phone.  The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology and telecommunications. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Sales Generation: Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and web-based communication. 

  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our fiber optic products, services, and solutions to effectively communicate benefits to prospective clients. 

  • Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. 

  • Sales Pipeline Management: Track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and customer accounts through CRM systems, ensuring timely follow-ups and progress updates. 

  • Quoting & Negotiation: Prepare and deliver accurate price quotes, proposals, and contracts. 

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and field sales teams to coordinate efforts, share insights, and ensure the smooth transition of customer accounts. 

  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales metrics, targets, and performance to management. 
     

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in telecommunications, fiber optics, or technology industries. 

  • Self-motivated individual, that can work independently in a fast-paced sales environment while maintaining attention to detail and organization. 

  • Remaining positive and motivated even when faced with challenging situations 

  • Diligent in following up with unresponsive clients or clients looking to cancel 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions in an easy-to-understand manner. 

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads, accounts, and opportunities. 

  • Team player that actively participates in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned. 

  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and ready to help others succeed.
