Manager, Sales Effectiveness
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: EVP, Sales & Marketing
Location: Remote

POSITION SUMMARY
As the Manager of Sales Effectiveness, you are the engine that drives our street-level execution. In our lean, high-growth FTTH environment, we don't need a corporate presenter who just points at PowerPoint slides; we need a gritty, hands-on trainer and operational executor who gets in the trenches. You will be the trusted advisor to our sales force, wearing two critical hats: running the daily enablement lifecycle, from onboarding fresh Door-to-Door (D2D) and Inside Sales reps to coach them to their first sale, and executing strategic sales campaigns, SPIFFs, and market-rollout plays. Armed with field data from platforms like Spotio and Terros, you will identify exactly where our reps are struggling on the doors or phones, fix their pitches in real-time, and drive penetration in every neighborhood we light up.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Enablement & Field Training
  • Execute the Onboarding Lifecycle: Run and refine our 30-60-90 day onboarding program for D2D and Inside Sales representatives. The #1 metric is decreasing time-to-first-sale through relentless roleplay, FTTH product education, and objection-handling drills.
  • Drive Tech Stack Mastery: Ensure 100% adoption of our field sales tool (Terros). Train reps to accurately log dispositions, drop pins, manage their daily turf, and prevent "pencil-whipping" so ops receives clean, actionable data.
  • Support Frontline Supervisors: Act as the ultimate wingman to our Sales Supervisors. Help them run structured 1:1s, conduct highly productive field ride-alongs, and show them how to coach reps out of slumps instead of just closing deals for them.
  • Continuous Education & Competitive Intel: Deliver ongoing, punchy training sessions on competitive intelligence. Teach our reps how to perform "bill teardowns" on the doorstep to counter legacy cable (exploding promos, upload bottlenecks) and DSL (copper unreliability).
Sales Programs & Campaign Execution
  • Implement SPIFFs and Contests: Execute data-driven SPIFFs that align with immediate company goals—whether that’s driving the highest take-rate in a newly lit fiber hood, reviving "dark doors," or pushing multi-gig tier adoption.
  • Support the Inside Sales Motion: Work directly with the Inside Sales team to refine call scripts, speed-to-lead cadences, and objection handling for inbound calls and warm leads.
  • Execute MDU Penetration Plays: Roll out specialized D2D tactics to accelerate sales and drive high-density subscriber growth in Multi-Dwelling Units with secured Right of Entry (ROE) agreements.
  • Drive the Re-connect Program: Train the team to execute targeted win-back campaigns, utilizing inside sales dialing and D2D door drops to recover non-pay disconnects and seasonal churners.
  • Deploy Demographic-Specific Initiatives: Train the field on our Home Tech Program, empowering reps to capture older demographics by leading with intuitive streaming education, cord-cutting confidence, and whole-home Wi-Fi solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2C telecom, ISP, or FTTH sales, with a deep, practical understanding of direct sales motions (Door-to-Door and Inside Sales). You must have knocked doors or dialed leads in this industry.
  • Operational Fluency - High proficiency in D2D canvassing and territory management software (Spotio, Terros, SalesRabbit, etc.) and modern CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho). You must know how to read a turf map and spot where reps are skipping houses.
  • Proven Trainer - Track record of delivering sales playbooks, running energetic training classes, and coaching reps one-on-one in a fast-paced environment.
  • Influence Without Authority - Exceptional ability to hold reps and supervisors accountable to coaching metrics and operational standards without being their direct boss.
  • Data-Driven Mindset - Ability to translate raw door-knock data, contact rates, and conversion metrics into immediate, actionable coaching moments.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
