POSITION SUMMARY
Vero Fiber is seeking a high-performing MDU Sales Specialist to drive multi-dwelling unit (MDU) growth across both our existing fiber footprint and strategic off-network opportunities. This role is designed for a relentless, results-driven seller who can create pipeline from scratch, navigate complex deals, and consistently close business.

This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a meaningful part in scaling a high-growth fiber platform.

Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% travel to key markets and properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own MDU Sales Execution - Take full ownership of the MDU sales cycle across both on-network and off-network opportunities, from initial outreach through contract execution and deployment alignment.
  • Prospect and Build Pipeline Daily - Generate consistent pipeline through high-volume outbound activity, including approximately 50+ outreaches per day across calls, email, LinkedIn, and in-person engagement.
  • Close New Business - Drive deals to close with urgency. Manage negotiations, overcome objections, and ensure timely execution of agreements aligned with Vero’s strategic and financial goals.
  • On-Net Expansion - Maximize penetration within Vero’s existing footprint by targeting MDUs that can be quickly activated and monetized.
  • Off-Net Development - Identify and secure strategic off-network opportunities that justify expansion, working cross-functionally to align build decisions with sales outcomes.
  • CRM Discipline (HubSpot) - Maintain strict CRM hygiene. Keep HubSpot fully up to date with accurate pipeline tracking, activity logging, forecasting, and next steps.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy - Provide real-time feedback on competitive dynamics, pricing, and deal structures. Apply expert thinking to refine go-to-market strategy and improve win rates.
  • Internal Collaboration - Partner closely with construction, operations, and leadership teams to ensure deals are executable and aligned with deployment timelines.
  • Territory & Market Focus - Primary focus markets include key Vero Fiber growth regions, with flexibility to expand into other high-priority markets as opportunities develop.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • Proven enterprise and mid-market sales experience, with the ability to navigate complex deals while also executing on faster, transactional opportunities
  • Strong work ethic with a high level of persistence, ownership, and follow-through
  • Highly disciplined in daily activity, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust with property owners and stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker who can balance immediate wins with long-term market development
  • Comfortable with operating independently in a high-growth, evolving environment
  • Experience in telecom, fiber, real estate, or MDU-related sales is highly preferred
  • Strong ability to build and deliver compelling presentations, including creating polished materials in PowerPoint tailored to property owners and developers
  • Highly effective at researching and identifying target contacts, including sourcing emails, phone numbers, and organizational insights
  • Comfortable leveraging tools and creative approaches to break into accounts and reach decision-makers
  • Ability to clearly articulate Vero Fiber’s value proposition in both formal presentations and informal conversations
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to customize proposals and outreach based on each opportunity
  • Must be comfortable independently building presentations, sourcing contacts, and developing targeted outreach strategies to penetrate new accounts.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Base Salary: $60,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Commission: $20 - $50k a year
  • On-Target Earnings: Competitive with significant upside for top performers
  • Top performers may have the ability to materially exceed on-target earnings through strong execution and consistent deal flow.

JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive Travel – 50%. Heavy travel required: Able to travel to various locations to perform job duties and meet with clients, partners, and other stakeholders. Travel schedules may be predictable or variable depending on the project. This position may require you to take short trips, longer trips, or extended stays, depending on the needs of the project.
  • This position requires the ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods of time, using a computer and other office equipment.
  • This position requires the ability to perform fine motor tasks, such as typing or using a mouse, for extended period of time.
  • The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with weeknight and weekend availability as needed to fulfill the core duties of the role.

  • This position requires the ability to pass a standard background check and MVR screening upon offer of position.
