Who We Are
Vero Fiber Networks specializes in building and operating dedicated fiber networks for K-12 educators, data centers, wireless infrastructure, and open-access network customers. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by delivering the most advanced and reliable networks. We have constructed and currently operate extensive fiber networks across 21 states, encompassing over 160 markets. As a fully remote, dynamic team, we are committed to positively impacting our customers through innovation and enhanced connectivity. Vero Fiber Networks is currently transitioning from a startup phase to a rapid scale-up, making this role critical in establishing robust, scalable financial and operational reporting infrastructure to support our accelerated growth.

Who You Are

  • Systems Thinker: You don't just enter data, you want to understand the "plumbing" of a business - how a signed contract in a CRM flows through to an invoice in NetSuite ERP
  • Spreadsheet Artist: You view Excel as a powerful tool for solving puzzles. You enjoy the "aha!" moment of a perfectly reconciled sheet where the actuals match the forecast
  • Audit Mindset: You are the person who catches the typo in the first paragraph. You take pride in 100% accuracy because you know that clean data is the backbone of a scaling company
  • Growth-Oriented: You want a high-impact "micro-internship" that gives you enterprise-level software experience (NetSuite/Zoho) and direct mentorship from executive leadership

Key Responsibilities

  • Billing Process Ownership: Maintain and own the current billing processes, including validating object fields in our systems against the underlying contracts
  • Data and Object Validation: Ensure all associated data and objects are validated and the object is ready to invoice
  • System Transition & Invoicing: Manage the transition of approved objects from the CRM to our ERP system, validating that the data translation has occurred correctly, and approving and invoicing in the ERP system
  • Pre-Invoicing Reconciliation: Perform validation steps in Excel to ensure the invoice data in the ERP system matches the data in the CRM prior to final invoicing
  • Monthly Reconciliations: Perform monthly MRR+MAR (Monthly Recurring Revenue + Monthly Annualized Revenue) reconciliations in Excel
  • Additional Responsibilities: Cost+ Reconciliations, CRM validations flow proposal, CRM object set up,  and accounts receivable assistance

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (Recent grads with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply!)
  • Software Savvy: A strong desire to learn and maintain CRM and NetSuite ERP data relationships. Previous experience with these types of tools is a plus, but the ability to learn software quickly is a must
  • Excel Skills: You should be comfortable with intermediate functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Basic Formulas) and have a high degree of comfort managing large (thousands of lines) datasets
  • Attention to Detail: You have an "eagle eye" for discrepancies, taking pride in catching errors before they become invoices
  • Communication: Strong professional writing and verbal skills; you can clearly explain a data variance to your manager
  • The "Startup" Spirit: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where processes are evolving. You are adaptable, organized, reliable, and have a drive for learning and growth

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
