Job Summary: 

The Team Lead, Outside Sales will be a player/coach, helping to train and provide guidance to our growing Outside Sales team.  VERO Fiber is focused on becoming a market leader in the fiber to the premise industry and this position will directly impact the Company’s overall success. The primary responsibility of the Team Lead will be to ensure that their team meets or exceeds sales targets and objectives.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage a high-energy team through daily team huddles, weekly 1:1s, and coaching sessions. 
  • Play an active role in recruiting, training, and developing door-to-door sales reps. 
  • Ensure the team is effectively using sales systems and tools to track success. 
  • Use analytics to coach team members, providing leadership to exceed their sales goals. 
  • Create a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages growth and a strong work ethic. 
  • Be the key driver of new revenue by leading from the front, engaging directly in sales activities. 
  • Acquire new residential customers through door-to-door sales from assigned leads. 
  • Always strive to simplify and improve the customer experience. 
  • Ensure accurate reporting of key performance indicators. 
  • Participate in sales strategies like marketing campaigns, community events, and conferences to grow the market share. 
  • Be an active team player by participating in sales meetings, training, and company initiatives. 
  • Complete all necessary administrative tasks related to products sold in line with department policies. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Sales experience is a plus, but we welcome anyone with a passion for learning and growth. 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people. 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while leading a team. 
  • A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle. 
  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and ready to help others succeed.

Working Conditions: 

  • Spends approximately 90% of the time in an outside environment for extended periods in any season, with potential exposure to inclement weather. 
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time 
  • Ability to carry and transport sales materials   
  • Minimal time in an office environment.
