Why Join Vero Fiber?
At Vero Fiber, we’re building future-ready broadband infrastructure that connects homes, neighborhoods, and entire communities. Join a fast-growing, mission-driven team where your technical expertise helps power real-world impact — delivering fast, affordable, friendly, and reliable fiber internet to the people who need it most!

POSITION SUMMARY
Vero Fiber is seeking a technically skilled and relationship-driven Fiber To The Home MDU & Residential Developments Sales Engineer to support the expansion of our Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network into multi-dwelling units (MDUs), greenfield, and brownfield residential developments. This pre-sales role bridges the gap between the sales team, engineering, construction, and real estate developers — playing a key part in winning new development opportunities and ensuring technical feasibility and cost-effective deployment.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in fiber optic networks, MDU installation strategies, and developer relations, paired with the ability to communicate technical solutions in a clear and business-savvy way.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Sales Engineering Support
  • Partner with the Vero sales team to provide technical guidance during early engagement with property developers, builders, and HOAs.
  • Assess feasibility for FTTH deployments across a variety of residential property types, including new construction and retrofits.
  • Support the development of solution proposals, including high-level design, budgetary pricing, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Participate in customer and developer meetings to explain proposed solutions and answer technical questions.
Developer Engagement & Design Consultation
  • Act as the technical liaison with real estate developers and property managers to understand build requirements, timelines, and utility access needs.
  • Collaborate with internal fiber engineering, ISP and OSP teams, as well as external contractors, to produce preliminary layouts, cost estimates, and scope of work documents tailored to each property.
  • Guide developers through conduit pathway standards, equipment placement, and in-building wiring best practices.
Network Architecture Alignment
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with overall network architecture, backhaul options, and Vero’s design standards for fiber infrastructure.
  • Recommend value engineering approaches that reduce construction cost and complexity without compromising quality or performance.
  • Identify long-term scalability options for serving additional units or phases of a development.
Sales Enablement & Project Handoff
  • Create and maintain technical collateral, playbooks, and documentation to support the sales process.
  • Track and report on pre-sales activity, developer commitments, and project pipeline metrics.
  • Facilitate smooth handoff from sales to project management and construction once agreements are in place.
CORE COMPETENCIES
There are several competencies required to be successful in this position. The following are some of the most important:
  • Customer-focused solution design
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Technical writing and proposal development
  • Cross-functional collaboration

  • Confident communicator capable of engaging with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in interpreting site plans and providing high-level network design recommendations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting sales teams in a pre-construction, developer-focused environment preferred.
