POSITION SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to lead the sales vision, market penetration, and revenue growth. This executive role is responsible for developing sales strategies, leading multistate broadband initiatives, and market innovation. This position ensures that the Sales department is structured, staffed, and equipped to meet revenue goals and development objectives. The Vice President of Sales serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, providing strategic counsel on market competitiveness, customer acquisition, and overall sales organizational growth. The role requires expert knowledge of consumer broadband industry dynamics, advanced sales leadership, and the ability to influence diverse business units. An elevated level of creativity, strategic thinking, analytical capability, and executive judgment is required. The position requires a servant leader, comfortable working at all levels of the department. Additional consideration may be given to a candidate with marketing experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute the fiber broadband sales strategy for both residential and business customers, with a focus on residential market growth, aligned with the corporate vision.
  • Operationalize the consistent and efficient execution of the sales strategy.
  • Establish, refine, and communicate sales policies, compensation structures, and performance standards for all levels of the sales organization.
  • Provide market input on product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
  • Drive market launches and product introductions.
  • Strengthen all levels of sales leadership through development, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Ensure consistent, data driven decision making by establishing KPIs and other market performance metrics.
  • Oversee and actively manage customer acquisition costs and expense budgets to ensure financial accountability.
  • Resolve operational, customer impacting, or market development challenges requiring executive involvement.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for major business accounts, strategic partnerships, and high value customer relationships.
  • Present sales performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
  • Align marketing initiatives with sales forecasts and growth plans.
  • Direct analysis of market conditions and forecasting.
  • Ensure alignment between sales and marketing for coordinated messaging and campaign execution.
  • Represent the company at industry, trade association, and community outreach events to strengthen brand visibility and market influence
  • Lead or participate in cross‑functional strategic initiatives as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is required.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive industry-related experience is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated success in sales execution and leadership in the consumer market space is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead large, cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and results.

JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This role requires extensive travel 50%+ of the time. Ability to travel to various locations to perform job duties and meet with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • This is a Remote position outside of the travel requirements.
  • The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday but may require night or weekend availability as needed to fulfill the core duties of the role.

  • This position requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, video‑conferencing tools, and other productivity technology.

  • Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment, including corporate offices and remote work settings.
  • Regular engagement in virtual environments, including video conferences, digital collaboration platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Periodic exposure to external environments during customer visits, industry conferences, and field‑based sales activities.
  • Occasional exposure to moderate noise levels, such as meetings, conferences, or open office settings.
  • Work may involve non‑standard hours, including early mornings, evenings, or travel‑related schedule variations, to support business needs.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • The total target compensation for this position is $200,000
