POSITION SUMMARY
The FP&A Analyst will drive operational excellence and financial clarity within Vero Fiber Networks by delivering accurate and timely reporting, insightful variance analysis, and proactive process improvements. This role will be instrumental in optimizing network operations, forecasting financial outcomes, and supporting strategic decisions with data-driven insights. The Analyst will collaborate across departments to ensure effective communication, facilitate buy-in for improvements, and contribute to the company's overall data architecture strategy, ultimately enhancing business efficiency and contributing to Vero Fiber Networks' growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recurring Deliverables
  • Customer Specific Operational Reporting: Author and update for key customers providing insights into discrete network performance and network activity
  • Network Operations Reporting: Author and update key network operations metrics for the nationwide Vero Fiber network.  Including, working with Operational team members to recommend measurable, achievable and time bound actions to improve metrics
  • Recovery Management: Utilizing current process and workflows to provide updates on internal and external recovery efforts associated with network performance
Near-Term Deliverables and New Process Developments
  • Cash Reporting: Implement new bottoms ups capital reporting process with the goal of providing succinct metrics and variance analysis relating to cash outflows (Capex) and cash in flows (Non-Recurring Revenue).   This will enable tighter understanding of actual outcomes vs forecast and provide the business with improved forecasting capabilities.
  • Object Management/Accuracy: Enable exception reporting via dashboards to highlight objects within our CRM that need to be modified to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Additional items: Locate ticket analysis, pass through costs analysis, operational metric reporting, network operations expense analysis, bookings margin analysis
Medium-Term Deliverables and New Process Developments
  • Quarterly Board of Directors Reporting: Maintain and improve current Board of Directors reporting process via Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Quarterly Forecasting: Maintain and improve current material inputs into the Vero Fiber Networks forecast.
  • Data and Reporting Architecture: Provide input and execution against a company wide data architecture plan relating to specific Business Operations tasks and more broadly, company deliverables
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Possesses strong professional communication skills via meetings, presentations, and writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to a growing company culture.
  • A keen interest and understanding of data architecture and reporting.
  • Proven ability to absorb and synthesize information from multiple sources, including frequent verbal discussions (e.g., up to five 30-minute meetings per week), and translate that information into actionable tasks and deliverables.
JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This role requires occasional travel up to 10% of the time for activities such as out-of-town meetings, training, or outreach activities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • This is a staff position.
  • This is an Exempt position.
  • This is a Full-Time position.
  • This is a Remote position with preference for a candidate in the Denver Metro Area
  • The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday with occasional weekend availability as needed to fulfill the core duties of the role.
  • This position requires the ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods of time, using a computer and other office equipment.
  • This position requires the ability to perform fine motor tasks, such as typing or using a mouse, for extended period of time.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Base pay is paid at an hourly rate/annual salary rate. The range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.
